Students will:

1. recognize Arabic letters
2. read short Arabic language books
3. understand basic Arabic grammatical concepts
4. match pictures to their Arabic words
5. sound out new Arabic words based on sounds previously introduced
6. develop an appreciation for reading in Arabic
7. gain confidence with reading in Arabic
