About the Course

In this course, we will be exploring the role of money throughout time and in today's world. Through the course, students create their own money for their own fictitious country using important symbols for the country. They attach value to their currency by explaining how much of their currency it would take to buy certain key products. Once students have explored the role of money, they are introduced to the concept of "goods and services." Students embark on creating their own good or service, following self-assessment criteria.

This course is appropriate for students aged 6 - 9.
